TecBioFood Project Presented at Erasmus+ Regional Seminar in Senegal
The TecBioFood project was featured at the Regional Erasmus+ Cluster Meeting and Contact-Making Seminar 2026 for Sub-Saharan Africa, held on 19 and 20 May in Dakar, Senegal.
Under the theme “Developing skills for the future”,, the event brought together several Erasmus+ projects to highlight the programme’s contribution to skills development and to strengthening education and health systems across Sub-Saharan Africa.
On 19 May, the TecBioFood project was represented by Francisca Alcântara, lecturer at the University of São Tomé and Príncipe (USTP) and a member of the project since its inception. She participated in the panel “Developing skills for key Global Gateway value chains – Focus on health as an example”, where she presented the project’s main objectives, as well as the progress and results achieved so far.
The participation in this event provided an important opportunity to share best practices for projects and to showcase the impact of the TecBioFood project to an international audience, including partners from several African countries.
The consortium highlighted the importance of this moment in strengthening cooperation networks and contributing to the development of future initiatives, particularly within the Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP) community.
